If your life is not going the way you want, check your habits.
Today was rough. Over the last few months maybe about 6 months ago where I have given up candy.
Today, I had a dessert, soda, lemonade, candy, all the stuff I don’t need. I did pretty good, giving up candy, dessert were a little harder to give up. I got on the scale yesterday I was down 10 lbs but I was hoping I was down 20 lbs. The reason I was down 10 and not 20 lbs was because I stopped working out 2-3 months ago. I went from drinking 1 soda to 2-3 soda and dessert almost every day.
If I am going to drop this weight, the things I do every day will increase or decrease my weight. So, I have to eliminate all candy again, eliminate all desserts, go down to 1 soda a day until I go down to 1 soda a week.
I know it is what I consistently do and I know I have to change for my own good. Habits matter.
Our life, our quality of life is determined by our thoughts and our habits. What habits do you need to get rid of? What can you replace it with? If you are going to get rid of a bad habit, replace it with a good habit. If you don’t replace it, you will find you will go back to the old habit you want to get rid of. For example, I could replace dessert or candy with fruits, vegetables or nuts or something healthier.
