Do you feel sad when you have thought too much about things you can’t change? How do you feel at the moment?
We have to know it is normal to go through periods of sadness. It will come and go. It is important to talk about or write about how you feel.
It is important to do what makes you happy on a regular basis.
Sit by yourself and say affirmations. Also sit and be grateful for what you have.
It is often not as bad as we think it is. We may be sad about one thing in your life. I am sure you can change this in seconds.
You can listen to praise and worship.
Write 3 to 5 things you are grateful for.
I am grateful for good health.
I am grateful my parents are still alive.
I am grateful for steady income.
I am grateful that things are as well as they are.
I am grateful for food on the table.
I am grateful for a roof over my head.
A feeling of sadness can cloud your vision on all those things that are going good for you.
If we’re honest, we all have something to be grateful for. We can go and do what makes us feel amazing.
Sadness is such a heavy thing. But I realize how real it is for a lot of people.
Don’t let it take years from your life. Enjoy your life. Be thankful for all the beautiful good things happening in your life.
I don’t know you and I can think of 3 things right now. But it is your turn, can you think of five things going good right now or 5 things going all right now that you can be grateful for: Your health, your spouse, two kidneys, lungs, hearts, fingers, toes, hands, feet, leg, income, roof on your head, clothes on your back, a table to eat at, a bed to sleep in, washer, dryer, stove, microwave, siblings, parents, friends, family, smart, beautiful, you can walk, talk, feel, love, vehicle, transportation (some type), teeth to chew, tongue, 2 eyes, ears, bladder and on and on.
We have more than we think. We have a lot to be thankful for.
Get out and get some sunlight. This will help your mood. Keep trying a lot of things. Debbie Ford asks in her book, “The Right Questions, Am I looking for what is right or am I looking for what is wrong?”
Get out and go play right now. Find something fun to do.
